Pokáč Releases His Fifth Studio Album – "Ovce na pohovce", Aimed at the Youngest Listeners for the First Time

Pokáč's first children's album delivers exactly what his fans love about him: clever lyrics, humor, wit, and spot-on observations about life – this time, however, in a form tailored especially for children.

And since a special album deserves a special launch, Pokáč is returning to Prague's O2 arena on May 16, 2026, with a concert titled Pokáčova dětská O2 arena.

You can look forward to an evening full of laughter and music that brings generations together.

For our youngest fans, we’ve prepared a special setup on the O2 arena floor, allowing little party-goers to dance in designated areas during the concert.

The front zone, called “ hurá, jde se tancovat ”, will be located directly in front of the stage and will be accessible to attendees with seats in front sections 001, 002, and 003. The rear “ taneční zóna ” will be situated at the back of the floor (behind the sound booth) and will be available to attendees from rear sections 004, 005, and 006.

Access to these zones will be allowed only to children up to 150 cm (approximately 4'11") in height, and not to their legal guardians or other authorized persons, in order to maintain clear sightlines for seated concertgoers.

Please note that allowing children to enter and remain in the designated dance zones is the sole responsibility of their legal guardians or authorized persons. It is up to them to assess whether the child is capable of being in these zones without supervision and whether the child has the necessary level of maturity and independence.

Experienced event staff (animators) will be present in both dance zones, but they will not be providing supervision or childcare.

Additionally, both the “hurá, jde se tancovat” and “taneční zóna” areas will be separated by barriers, primarily to meet the fire safety regulations of the O2 arena. Movement between the zones will not be possible.

For clarity, ticket holders in any sectors other than those listed above (001–006) will not be permitted to enter the dance zones.

The Game

With over 10 million copies sold and a long list of positive reviews and awards, the Kingdom Come: Deliverance series from Warhorse Studios is one of the finest examples of Czech gaming. The recently released second instalment sold a million copies on its first day of release and immediately became a hit, sparking interest in Czech history all across the world.

The game owes its success to many factors, from its realistically designed world, through a blockbuster-quality script to its thrilling combat system. But what ties these elements together and breathes life into them is the unforgettable soundtrack.

The Music

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – Orchestral Concert will present the work of composer and conductor Jan Valta, who spent more than four years crafting the game's music, and recorded it with a live orchestra and choir. His symphonic work will be complemented by several compositions created by composer Adam Sporka.

You can look forward to a selection of the best tracks from the more than 400 composed for the game. The concert will follow the game's storyline, allowing you to experience everything alongside its heroes: from the whimsy of taverns through the excitement and terror of battle all the way to the peace and serenity of nature and churches. The entire concert will be accompanied by a screen projection of key scenes from the game.

This spectacular performance will be performed by the Brno Philharmonic orchestra, conducted by composer Jan Valta. This will not be the orchestra's first concert of video game music. You may have already heard them perform atKingdom Come Live,Mafia Live or Czech Games Live Orchestra. The vocals will be provided by the Masaryk University Choir. Last but not least, a quartet of troubadours from Bakchus will enrich the experience by playing folk songs from the game.

Fans can also look forward to additional activities before and after the concert, such as merchandise sales and autograph signing. Several voice actors will make an appearance, and of course, developers from Warhorse will be there as well.

The Organiser

The concert is produced by the GameDev Area initiative, which has already organized several video game music concerts. In addition to the aforementioned projects with the Brno Philharmonic, the initiative is also responsible for the concerts of the Polish band Percival, which contributed to the soundtrack of The Witcher 3. Last but not least, GameDev Area also produced a concert of music from the Command & Conquer series, headed by its composer Frank Klepacki.

In January 2026, it will be five years since the untimely passing of David Stypka. To honor his memory, his songs will resonate through Prague's O2 universum, performed by the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra Olomouc under the baton of conductor Stanislav Vavřínek, accompanied by his band Bandjeez, as well as his friends and fellow musicians Mirai Navrátil, Kateřina Marie Tichá, and Ewa Farna.

"David's music captivated me from the very first moment. I love returning to it not only as a listener but also as a performer. His songs possess incredible strength and depth, along with a distinctive melodiousness. I believe David's work had a profound impact on people. The Line-Up for This Year’s Český mejdan s Impulsem Is Complete!

We’re thrilled to announce that the “party king” MICHAL DAVID has joined our musical crew for 2025. The traditional, nearly five-hour concert marathon will once again feature some of the biggest names in Czech music. Headlining the show is Český slavík winner MAREK ZTRACENÝ, who’s returning to the stage after a nearly two-year break. The legendary MARIE ROTTROVÁ will also perform, along with the ever-popular band JELEN and hitmaker XINDL X. And for the very first time, PAVOL HABERA will take the stage at Český mejdan s Impulsem as a special guest.

This beloved Czech music event will take place for the ninth time in the country’s largest venue – O2 arena Prague – on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

MAREK ZTRACENÝ will headline the night, following his massive summer “Zpátky tour 25”. He’s returning to O2 arena, a venue he has sold out multiple times, for a special autumn show featuring his latest hits like "Ta bílá ti sluší" and "Zastav mě".

Fans of party vibes will also be thrilled by our final lineup addition – MICHAL DAVID, not only the author of the event’s anthem "Mejdan podle plánu", but also a guaranteed crowd-mover who will have the O2 arena dancing by the night’s end.

Popová legenda 80. let Thomas Anders from Modern Talking band vystoupí 15. února 2026 v pražském O2 universum. Modern Talking je jméno, na které každá generace posluchačů slyší a nebudou chybět největší hity disco legendy osmdesátých let, jako You Are My Heart, You Are My Soul, Cheri Cheri Lady, Brother Luie. Thomas Anders byl v Praze naposledy v roce 2020, kdy vystoupil ve Fóru Karlín. Tenkrát mu skandovala vyprodaná hala. 

Skupinu Modern Talking založil Thomas Anders s Dieterem Bohlenem v roce 1984. Jejich písně ve stylu chytlavého eurodance se rychle staly hitparádovou senzací. V roce 1987 se na čas rozešli, ale v roce 1998 ohlásili comeback. Pět let se jim dařilo, točili nové písně, vydávali nová alba. Jejich Back For Good se jen v Německu prodalo přes milion a čtvrt kusů.

Rok 2003 se stal definitivním rokem konce jejich společné cesty. Od té doby jdou každý tou svou, sólovou. Oba členové dál koncertují s původním repertoárem, který v osmdesátých letech dobyl hitparády po celém světě.

STEIN27, a rapper and singer from Brno, will perform at Prague’s O2 universum on October 31, 2025, in his only solo concert of the year outside of festival appearances. This will also be the biggest show of his career so far. Fans can look forward to all the essential hits in a unique atmosphere.

Hudba, která dobyla světová kina i srdce posluchačů – to je tvorba řeckého skladatele Vangelise, jehož monumentální dílo ožije 27. února 2026 v pražském O2 universu v rámci koncertu Vangelis Original Concert 1492.

Tato výjimečná hudebně-vizuální show propojí slavné filmové melodie s působivou projekcí, která přenese diváky do fascinujících světů Vangelisovy hudby. Večer bude patřit především ikonickému soundtracku k filmu 1492: Dobytí ráje, jehož hlavní téma „Conquest of Paradise“ se stalo symbolem hrdinství, naděje a lidského odhodlání. Jeho hlas dodá Vangelisově hudbě výjimečnou emocionální hloubku. Diváci se mohou těšit mimo jiné na „Dobytí ráje“. Dirigentem večera bude britský maestro Pete Harrison, který má bohaté zkušenosti s filmovou hudbou. Doprovodí ho The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, jeden z nejuznávanějších českých symfonických orchestrů, který se specializuje právě na filmovou a scénickou hudbu.

Vangelis: Génius hudebních obrazů

Evangelos Odysseas Papathanassiou, známý jako Vangelis, patří k nejvýznamnějším hudebním skladatelům 20. století. Jeho hudba se stala nedílnou součástí filmové historie. Vangelis byl oceněn Oscarem za hudbu k filmu Ohnivé vozy (Chariots of Fire), vytvořil také kultovní futuristický soundtrack k filmu Blade Runner Ridleyho Scotta, stejně jako působivou hudbu k historickému velkofilmu Alexander, psychologickému dramatu Hořký měsíc (Bitter Moon, režie Roman Polanski), či dobrodružnému snímku Bounty, kde se objevily hvězdy jako Mel Gibson, Anthony Hopkins, Daniel Day-Lewis a Liam Neeson. One of the most acclaimed cellists of our time, Hauser, is returning to the Czech Republic with his solo concert The Rebel is Back. The Croatian native, known not only for his precise playing but also for his charisma, will perform on December 11, 2025, at the O2 arena Prague.

Formerly a member of the popular duo 2Cellos, Hauser began his solo career in 2022 and has since captivated audiences worldwide with his innovative arrangements of classical and modern pieces. His concerts blend classical elegance with elements of pop and film music, attracting a broad audience across generations. His unique style of playing and the use of pyrotechnics add a distinctive touch to his shows.

Hauser, whose full name is Stjepan Hauser, began performing in Europe’s largest theaters as a soloist at the age of 20, collaborating with many of Europe’s and the world’s most prominent orchestras. He has performed in regions such as Asia, South Africa, New Zealand, and the United States. His debuts took place in prestigious concert halls, including Wigmore Hall in London, Royal Albert Hall (London), and Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

For his artistry, he has received numerous prestigious international awards and has had the honor of performing for the Prince of Wales, Charles, both at Buckingham Palace and St. James’s Palace. In 2011, he joined Luka Šulić (2Cellos) on Elton John’s global tour.

Tam, kde jsme si všichni vědomi toho odkud a hlavně kudy, jakou branou jsme sem přišli. Každý z nás bez ohledu na pohlaví. A podle toho se také k ženám, zemi a sobě navzájem chovali. Cestou k tomu je například právě oslava prostřednictvím potěšení, které na akci připravujeme.“ Tak představuje projekt jedna z jeho hlavních iniciátorek - Eliška Vaea. Ta je přední mezinárodní lektorkou ženského leadershipu a SOULbyznysu. Je holistickou mentorkou a průvodkyní pro ženy, které chtějí vstoupit do své plné síly, svobody a expanze.

Další hlavní aktérkou projektu je Lucie Harnošová, přední česká mentorka žen, vizionářka, spisovatelka a úspěšná expertní podnikatelka, která se zaměřuje na ženský seberozvoj. Stojí za projektem Alchymie ženy, se kterým se spojilo za posledních šest let přes 100.000 žen. "Jsem nadšená z toho, že pomáhám tisícům žen říkat svoji pravdu, stát ve své síle, plnit si svá přání. Vytvářet život svých snů a žít ve svobodě,” doplňuje ke svému zaměření Lucie Harnošová.

Poslední z trojice žen, které stojí za projektem Alchymie potěšení, je známá zpěvačka, herečka a moderátorka Šárka Marková. Diváci ji mohli vidět v muzikálech Pomáda, Bídníci, Jesus Christ Superstar nebo Děti ráje. V posledních deseti letech se intenzivně věnuje dosahu účinku zvuku na lidský organismus. Zkoumáním frekvencí až na buněčné úrovni. V současné době je intuitivní průvodkyní na cestě krajinami zvuku a hlasu využívající pro harmonizaci a la-dění těl svůj dech, hlas a láskyplný dotek s pomocí křišťálových nástrojů a jejich působení na naše buněčné, mandalové struktury. 

Do projektu se zapojí i další řada známých tváří, kterým je dané téma blízké. Už teď můžeme potvrdit účast Lilie Khousnoutdinové, která je iniciátorkou projektů zabývajících se ženskou sexualitou, porodem či menopauzou. Svou přednášku zde bude mít i Helena Máslová, psychogynekoložka věnující se ženskému zdraví a reprodukci. Tematicky propojené bude i vystoupení česko-slovanské kapely Vesna, která nás v roce 2022 reprezentovala v rámci mezinárodní soutěže Eurovize. Zaujme i vystoupení šampionek vzdušné akrobacie Ivany Kolcunové a Kataríny Zatovičové. Program bude postupně doplňován, sledujte oficiální web projektu.

Oznámení turné následuje po očekávaném debutu zpěvačky na Pyramid Stage jako hlavní hvězdy pátečního večera na festivalu Glastonbury 2024 letos v létě. BBC její vystoupení ocenilo slovy: „Dua se trefila do každé značky s přesností někoho, kdo se na tento okamžik připravoval roky.“ Po svém elektrizujícím setu na Glastonbury okamžitě vyprodala dva po sobě jdoucí večery na kultovním londýnském stadionu Wembley, které byly naplánovány na červen 2025. Dua dosáhla nového vrcholu ve své kariéře, přičemž zájem fanoušků je rekordní.

Celosvětové turné podporuje třetí studiové album Radical Optimism, které vyšlo 3. května 2024 u Warner Records. Album se dostalo rovnou na první příčku v 11 zemích včetně Velké Británie, kde se stalo největším albovým debutem britského umělce v roce 2024 a získalo nejvyšší týdenní prodeje britské umělkyně od roku 2021. V USA album debutovalo na 1. místě v žebříčku Billboard Top Album Sales a na 2. místě v žebříčku Billboard 200, což znamenalo dosud největší prodejní týden. Star-Studded Hockey Showdown at the O2 arena Prague: Pastrňák vs. Voráček

Czech fans are in for another thrilling hockey experience! Following the successful game in Slovakia and the sold-out O2 arena on February 10, 2023, where the Olympic triumph from Nagano was commemorated, another exhibition match is coming. This time, the biggest Czech stars from the World Championship and the NHL will face off at the O2 arena Prague on August 31, 2024. Teams will be led by Boston Bruins star David Pastrňák and former Czech national team player Jakub Voráček.

The rosters will feature Petr Mrázek, Martin Nečas, Filip Hronek, Tomáš Kundrátek, Michal Kempný, Jakub Krejčík, Jakub Nakládal, Roman Červenka, Ondřej Kaše, Ondřej Pavelec, Dominik Kubalík, and other hockey personalities.

Velkolepá show Rock in Symphony v pražském O2 universu nabídne nejen ty nejslavnější rockové hity v orchestrálním zpracování, ale také geniální hudební spolupráci věhlasného Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague a členů britské rockové legendy Uriah Heep.

Termín 24. 6. 2024 a čas 20:00 by si měli v kalendáři zakroužkovat červeně všichni milovníci rockové hudby, a to především fanoušci britských Uriah Heep. Speciálními hosty Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague (BSOP) a Soundtopia Band v pražském O2 universu nebude totiž nikdo jiný než pánové Mick Box a Bernie Shaw z této slavné rockové kapely. „Naše písně v klasickém provedení odhalují úplně jinou stránku,“ shodují se rockeři z Uriah Heep.

Ostatně nebude to poprvé, co se členové této skupiny sejdou na jednom pódiu s věhlasným českým orchestrem pod vedením šéfdirigenta Martina Šandy. „Ano, v minulosti už jsme s BSOP vystupovali. Spolupráce s nimi je absolutně ohromná, protože písně Uriah Heep v klasickém zpracování odhalují jinou stránku, než když hraje samotná kapela. Songy se stávají hodně emocionální, a to máme rádi. Proto se do téhle spolupráce budeme pouštět znovu a znovu, když nás BSOP osloví,“ říká kytarista a zakládající člen Uriah Heep Mick Box.

„BSOP je velmi mladý orchestr a vnáší do skladeb úplně nový náboj, což je velmi zábavné i pro nás na pódiu,“ dodává zpěvák kapely Bernie Shaw. Sám přiznává, že klasickou hudbu poslouchá zásadně za volantem svého vozu. „V autě si pouštím klasiku pořád. Pomáhá to udržovat nervy na uzdě, což je někdy zapotřebí, pokud je zrovna šílená doprava. V poslední době jsem si oblíbil Vivaldiho, to je teď můj favorit,“ dodává.

Během koncertu Rock in Symphony si slavní muzikanti střihnou spolu s BSOP a kapelou Soundtopia Band své největší hity. Mezi nimi nebude chybět například Lady in Black, která se v devadesátých letec dočkala své úspěšné české verze. Pod názvem Slečna závist ji nahrála kapela Arakain.

Britští muzikanti se do Česka vracejí pokaždé s velkým nadšením. Pochvalují si totiž zdejší publikum. „Vždycky jsme se tady skvěle bavili, protože je tu znát sounáležitost mezi fanoušky a jejich hudbou. Mají k ní velmi pevné pouto, a když vyjdeme na pódium, okamžitě z nich tu energii cítíme. Díky tom tomu je každý večer velmi výjimečný,“ říká Mick Box.

Koncert Rock in Symphony dále ovládnou melodie rockových matadorů, jako jsou Metallica, Guns N´ Roses, Pink Floyd, Europe nebo AC/DC. Chybět nebude ani strhující vizuální světelná show.

Orchestr a rocková hudba

Martin Šanda a jeho svěřenci mají s rockovou hudbou v symfonickém provedení bohaté zkušenosti. Orchestr má za sebou například několik evropských turné s lídry slavných zahraničních kapel jako Deep Purple, Nazareth, Europe, Alice Cooper, Toto, Survivor, Foreigner, Journey, Uriah Heep nebo také s Bonnie Tyler.

Navzdory divoké pověsti slavných muzikantů se ale žádné skandály během spolupráce nikdy nekonaly. „Pánové rockeři byli vždy opravdu slušní. Žádné manýry. Má zkušenost je taková, že čím větší hvězda, tím skromnější chování. Naopak z nás byli tak trošku nervózní, protože nás klasiky vnímali jako ty vážné profíky. Nakonec, když jsme se během turné lépe poznali, zjistili, že i s námi může být legrace,“ vzpomíná Šanda, který BSOP založil už v roce 2002.

Od té doby si orchestr připsal na konto nespočet dalších úspěchů. Pochlubit se může také spoluprací na projektech se švédskou kapelou Sabaton, britskou kapelou Kosheen, 2Cellos, slavným španělským operním pěvcem José Carrerasem nebo vokální skupinou The Tenors a Il Volo. Seznam hvězdných jmen, která měla s pražským orchestrem co do činění, je skutečně obsáhlý. Za zmínku stojí například také houslistka Vanessa Mae, zpěvačka Sarah Brightman či trojnásobný držitel Grammy Michael Bublé.

5.- 7. dubna oslaví největší český festival popkultury výročí a oslavy budou veliké. Lister a Rimmer z Červeného trpaslíka, robot C3PO z Hvězdných válek, Terminátor, Bobby z Dallasu, profesor Kratiknot z Harryho Pottera, a spousta dalších hereček, herců, cosplayerů, spisovatelů a milovníků fantastiky se sejde v multifunkčním centru O₂ universum.

Branami O₂ universa ve Vysočanech prochází každoročně desetitisíce fanoušků, kteří už si zvykli, že za první ligou světové popkultury už nemusí cestovat za hranice a že Česko a Praha úspěšným uváděním ikonické světové festivalové značky stvrdily pověst města, které stojí zato navštívit. „Dáváme si záležet jak na seznamu hostů, tak na programu, protože pátý ročník, to už je malé jubileum. Věřím, že nás čeká zatím největší český Comic-Con”, říká Pavel Renčín, marketingový ředitel společnosti Active Radio, která akci pořádá.

Global Champions Prague Playoffs returns to the O2 arena for the sixth time. From 20-23 November, the world's top equestrian stars will once again converge on the Czech capital for the season's spectacular final. The Global Champions Prague Playoffs promises world-class sport and an unforgettable equestrian and audiovisual show.

Tickets for this prestigious event, featuring the world's best riders and teams, are now on sale through Ticketportal. "We are thrilled by the huge interest in the Prague Playoffs. We've already sold more tickets than ever before and are on track to break the all-time attendance record. We strongly encourage fans to secure the best seats as soon as possible and be a part of this historic event," said Jan Andrlík, chairman of the Prague Playoffs organising committee.

In addition to the main arena action at the O2 arena, the organisers are preparing an entertainment zone at the adjacent O2 universum, with special activities for children. It's set to be a complete sports and entertainment experience for the whole family.

There will be daily tickets available as well as the packages for all four competition days, plus VIP tickets, party boxes, or table seats on the club floor.

The National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA), together with Live Nation, today announced that the 2024 NHL Global Series™ presented by Fastenal will be headlined by the Buffalo Sabres, New Jersey Devils, Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers.

On Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5, the Sabres and Devils will open the 2024-25 regular season with a pair of games at Prague's O2 Arena. The games in Prague will be played on October 4 at 7:00 p.m. and October 5 at 4:00 p.m.

In advance of traveling to Prague, the Sabres will finish their training camp in Munich, Germany and will meet Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) club Red Bull Munich in an exhibition match Friday, Sept. 27. This will be the grand-opening event at Red Bull Munich’s brand-new home venue, SAP. The Stars and Panthers will then meet at Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2.

The 2024 NHL Global Series presented by Fastenal will mark the 11th season that the NHL has traveled to Europe to play regular-season games. These games reward the legions of loyal and passionate fans in Europe that enjoy live NHL games available via international broadcast and media partners, including MTV Oy and Viaplay (Finland), TV10 and Viaplay (Sweden), TV3 and Viaplay (Norway and Denmark), Nova and NovaSport (Czechia and Slovakia), Dajto (Slovakia), Sky and ProSieben (Germany), Sky (Austria) and MySports (Switzerland), as well as the NHL’s streaming service, NHL.TV. The NHL is a global League, with more than 30 percent of NHL Players this season having been born outside of North America. There are multiple international stars on the rosters of all four Clubs participating in the 2024 NHL Global Series presented by Fastenal, including natives of the countries in which the games are being played. Sabres forward JJ Peterka will be returning to his birthplace when the Club visits Munich to face off against his former team. Peterka played 72 DEL games with Red Bull Munich during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons, prior to making the transition to North America to join the Sabres. Then, in Prague, two Czech-born Devils forwards, Ondrej Palat and Tomas Nosek, will be returning to their native land, as will Sabres forward Lukas Rousek, who played 161 games over four seasons (2017-18 through 2020-21) with Prague-based Czech Extraliga club Sparta Praha.

Pet Shop Boys (Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe) are listed in The Guinness Book of Records as the most successful duo in UK music history. Since signing to Parlophone Records in 1985, they have achieved 42 Top 30 singles in the UK including 22 Top 10 hits and four number ones. They have released 14 studio albums all of which have made the UK Top 10 as well as album charts around the world and are currently working on their 15th studio album due for release Spring 2024.

As writers, producers and remixers, Tennant and Lowe have collaborated, remixed or written for a wide range of artists including Dusty Springfield, Lady Gaga, Liza Minnelli, Blur, Madonna, David Bowie, Yoko Ono, The Killers, Girls Aloud, Paul Weller and Noel Gallagher.

In their live shows, Pet Shop Boys have created an original style of pop musical theatre, collaborating with directors, designers and artists including Derek Jarman, David Alden and David Fielding, Zaha Hadid, Sam Taylor-Wood, Es Devlin and Tom Scutt.

PSB to date have performed shows in 63 countries to an audience of millions. In September that year, PSB co-headlined with fellow British electronic band New Order on their Unity tour with special guest DJ Paul Oakenfold. Unity saw them perform in 11 cities across North America including two sell-out nights at the Hollywood Bowl.

In June this year, Pet Shop Boys released ‘SMASH - The Singles 1985-2020’ – the complete collection of their singles from across 35 years of releases. SMASH reached number 4 in the album charts. And in June and July, Neil and Chris toured the second cycle of Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live in the UK and Europe.

Their yet-to-be-named, 15th studio album is being produced by James Ford and scheduled for release in April 2024 which also marks 40 years since the first Pet Shop Boys record was released.

The most famous Czech opera singer and bass-baritone, Adam Plachetka, will once again return to the largest Czech hall.
He will perform at the O2 arena Prague on Friday, January 24, 2025, on the occasion of his 40^th birthday, accompanied by several guests.

"After my first concert at the O2 arena in January 2020, I received a lot of amazing feedback that not only greatly pleased me but also inspired me to further ideas. And when is the best time to bring them to life and capitalize on the experience gained than on the occasion of a life jubilee? I have, so to speak, already felt out the arena, and now I will strive with my creative team to prepare an even more interesting program that both the milestone birthday and the unique space that the O2 arena represents deserve. And which, I believe, the audience will also enjoy along with me", Adam Plachetka looks forward.

Uznávaná diva světového formátu Lara Fabian se po předchozích beznadějně vyprodaných koncertech vrací po pěti letech do Prahy.

Naši metropoli si dříve vybrala i pro natáčení oficiálního DVD. Nenechte si ujít nejen bouřlivý potlesk hned od prvních tónů skladby "Je t'aime", ale i bezkonkurenční atmosféru, díky níž jsou koncerty Lary Fabian nezapomenutelné.

Belgičanka žijící v Kanadě si již ve čtrnácti letech zpíváním v bruselských klubech nevědomky připravovala půdu pro impozantní mezinárodní kariéru. Osudovým se jí stalo setkání se skladatelem Rickem Allisonem. Po vítězství v mnoha evropských soutěžích a získání popularity uvedla na trh svůj první singl, po němž v roce 1994 následovalo debutové autorské album Carpe Diem.

Od roku 1995 sbírá Lara Fabian významná ocenění, mj. Nejlepší zpěvačka roku, Nejlepší živé vystoupení roku, Album roku a mnoho dalších. Její alba se stala zlatými a několikrát i platinovými.

V roce 1996 zvěčnilo hlas Lary Fabian studio Walt Disney. Kromě toho, že ztělesnila Esmeraldu, hrdinku animovaného filmu Hrbáč z Notre Dame, nazpívala na soundtracku k filmu ústřední píseň "Que Dieu aide les exclus".

Mezi vystoupeními v Evropě se Lara často vracela do New Yorku a San Franciska, aby tam nahrála své první album v angličtině. Po pořadu From Lara with Love, jejím prvním americkém televizním speciálu vysílaném televizí PBS, se zpěvačka a skladatelka podílela na velmi populární rozhlasové verzi, kde vystoupilo mnoho populárních umělců, včetně Michaela Jacksona, Christiny Aguilery, Marca Anthonyho, Rickyho Martina a Toni Braxton.

V únoru 2001 se skladba "Love By Grace" stala ústředním motivem telenovely Lacos de Família, vysílané pro miliony diváků v Brazílii a Portugalsku. "Love by Grace" vyvolala kolem Lary Fabian neuvěřitelné šílenství.

Od té doby tato výjimečná interpretka vydala dalších deset úspěšných alb a získala si srdce milionů fanoušků. O jejím úspěchu dodnes svědčí přes osm milionů prodaných desek.

Corteo, the most enchanting arena production from Cirque du Soleil is back in Europe and heading to Prague, set to charm audiences for the very first time. This unique production, directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, first premiered in Montreal under the Big Top in April 2005. Since its creation, the show has amazed over 10 million spectators, in 20 countries, on 4 continents. Corteo will be presented at the O2 arena for 7 shows only from 25. to 29. 9. 2024.

Corteo, which means cortege in Italian, is a joyous procession, a festive parade imagined by a clown. The show brings together the passion of the actor with the grace and power of the acrobat to plunge the audience into a theatrical world of fun, comedy and spontaneity situated in a mysterious space between heaven and earth.

The clown pictures his own funeral taking place in a carnival atmosphere, watched over by quietly caring angels. Juxtaposing the large with the small, the ridiculous with the tragic and the magic of perfection with the charm of imperfection, the show highlights the strength and fragility of the clown, as well as his wisdom and kindness, to illustrate the portion of humanity that is within each of us. The music turns lyrical and playful carrying Corteo through a timeless celebration in which illusion teases reality.

In a Cirque du Soleil first, the stage is central in the arena and divides the venue, with each half of the audience facing the other half, giving a unique perspective not only of the show, but also a performer’s eye view of the audience. The globally successful Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone™ in Concert, as part of the only official Harry Potter Film Concert Series, returns to the Czech Republic after more than 5 years! Připravte se na jedinečný rockový zážitek! Dnes již legenda české rockové hudební scény, kapela KABÁT, se chystá oslavit výročí 35let ve stejné sestavě a připravila si pro své fanoušky PO ČERTECH VELKÝ TURNÉ 2024. V rámci tohoto turné se zastaví také v pražské O2 areně, kde odehraje hned dva koncerty, a to 8. a 9. listopadu 2024.

Co nám k chystanému turné sdělil management kapely:
Snažíme se s kapelou stále posouvat technické vymoženosti koncertu a ne jinak tomu bude i na tomto turné. Kromě již zavedeného standardu špičkových pyroefektů se na scéně objeví v ČR zatím nepoužité a nevídané hydraulické a motorizované prvky, jak ve vertikální, tak v horizontální rovině, které dokážou rozhýbat a proměnit celou scénu.
Kapela Kabát si až „pedantsky“ zakládá na úrovni všech vystoupení. Nesoustředí se jen na velké projekty a turné, ale lpí na detailech u každého svého vystoupení. Neřeší, jestli je to pražská O2 arena nebo zimní stadion ve Znojmě. Všude musí mít show stejnou úroveň, což je mnohdy docela oříšek pro celý tým, který koncerty chystá.

Skupina KABÁT je považována za nejúspěšnější českou rockovou kapelu, která nikdy nepřerušila svou činnost, pravidelně vydává nová alba a beze změn v jedné sestavě existuje a pravidelně koncertuje od roku 1989. With a significant lead, the completely sold-out double concert Škwor in October 2023 at the O2 universum Prague was one of the highlights of this year's 25th-anniversary celebrations for the popular rock band and their numerous fans, along with the release of their new album "Sobě věrnej." It's no wonder that Škwor decided to "do it again next year" and continue the tradition of big Prague concerts. The rockin' crew will return to the O2 universum just before Christmas, with three concerts scheduled for December 20, 21, and 22, 2024! So, fans of rock Christmas should have their gifts sorted out...

"It was clear to all of us from the moment we stepped onto the sold-out O2 universum stage. From the beginning, we knew we would want to repeat this party. During the first concert, I promised our fans that we'd do it again with them in a year. And since promises should be kept, we'll really do it again next year, and three times at that! We'll close our tour for the new album 'Sobě věrnej' and enjoy the end of the year together", says Škwor's frontman, Petr Hrdlička. Drummer Martin Pelc adds: "We received a lot of positive reactions and messages for both birthday concerts at O2 universum. It only confirmed to us that we made the right decision and that our fans won't let us down next year."

Global Champions Prague Playoffs, the greatest showjumping event in the world, is coming back to the O₂ arena for the fifth time. Tickets for the unique event which will take place from 16 to 19 November, 2023, are available via Ticketportal. Prices range from CZK 290 to CZK 2,390 for daily tickets.

“Global Champions Prague Playoffs will take place in O₂ arena for the fifth time in 2023. The ticket prices start at 290 CZK. We continue in our efforts to offer the sport of showjumping to as many fans as possible. Traditionally, a spectacular accompanying show will be prepared for our fans”, says Jan Andrlík, chairman of the Prague Playoffs organizing committee.

The fifth year of the showjumping event in Prague will welcome a total of sixteen individual riders of the season and best sixteen teams – as the home fans hope, including the local team of Prague Lions.

Day tickets, but also VIP tickets, party boxes or seats at tables on the club floor are available again. Tickets can be purchased through the official ticket vendor – Ticketportal.

Daily ticket prices start at 290 CZK for tickets to the 4^th floor. The prices for category 1 tickets, i.e. to the 1^st floor of the O₂ arena, start at 990 CZK. There is a 50% discount on the entrance fee for children up to 140 cm tall for the Thursday and Friday program.

„I would appeal to all fans not to delay in buying a ticket and enjoy a unique show that has no parallel in the world”, adds Jan Andrlík.

Honza Bendig na sebe poprvé silněji upozornil v roce 2009, tehdy jako finalista Česko Slovenské Superstar. Od té doby ušel dlouhou cestu, zaměřil se na svou sólovou kariéru a odehrál stovky koncertů. Na březen 2024 plánuje se svým týmem monstrózní výpravnou show se skvělými hosty. Minulé show ve Foru Karlín se zúčastnila například Monika Bagárová, Markéta Konvičková, Michal David, Refew i Honzův bratr Marsell. Koncert podpořila propracovaná světelná show se zapojením obřích LED obrazovek.

Je jasné, že už teď velmi ambiciózně postavenou laťku posune ještě o pořádný kus výš. Velkolepá show nabídne ty nejzásadnější hity Honzy, kterých je opravdu mnoho. O tom svědčí i Honzova čísla na YouTube, kde má jeho tvorba neuvěřitelných 179 milionů zhlédnutí. V letošním roce vyšla například jeho společná píseň Romalandia s Rytmusem, song Budeme kelovat s Refewem, nebo skladba Nebe Peklo Ráj ve spolupráci s Markétou Konvičkovou. Během koncertu se můžeme těšit i na hvězdné hosty, jejichž jména prozatím Honza tají. Ale půjde opět o nejzářivější jména české i zahraniční hudební scény.

Honza Bendig se nesoustředí jenom na hudbu. Se svým manažerem Lukášem Rejmonem produkuje natáčení seriálů a reality shows. Těmi plní svůj YouTube kanál nazvaný (s lehkou nadsázkou) Romflix.

Na oslavu 50. výročí od vydání zazní pod taktovkou Robina Smitha ikonická skladba Mika Oldfielda – Tubular Bells. Součástí koncertní show Tubular Bells 50^th Anniversary budou i další skladby Mikea Oldfielda jako je Moonlight Shadow, Summit Day, Family Man a Ommadawn.

Nejprodávanější instrumentální album všech dob Tubular Bells poprvé vyšlo jako debut tehdy začínajícího Mikea Oldfielda dne 25. května 1973. Složil ho dva roky dříve a všechny nástroje si na něj nahrál sám osobně. Světovou popularitu si album Tubular Bells získalo také díky filmu Vymítač ďábla (The Exorcist), ve kterém byla použita první část tohoto alba. Jen ve Velké Británii se alba prodalo téměř 3 miliony.

Dirigent a skladatel Robin Smith, který koncertní show Tubular Bells 50^th Anniversary diriguje, je nadšený, že pod jeho taktovkou zazní dílo, které miluje od roku 1973, kdy jej slyšel poprvé. Spolupracoval s Mikem Oldfieldem na Tubular Bells 2 a 3, včetně živých vystoupení na Edinburgh Castle, Horseguards Parade v Londýně, The Millennium Bell v Berlíně nebo 2012 v Londýně.

„Představení Tubular Bells 50^th Anniversary mělo premiéru v Royal Festival Hall v Londýně v srpnu 2021 a setkalo se s velkým úspěchem. Je to oslava a pocta Mikeovi Oldfieldovi, který je podle mého názoru jedním z největších anglických skladatelů minulého století. Pro mě osobně spolu s hudebníky je to skutečné privilegium zahrát toto mimořádné dílo. Dnes je stejně svěží, jako když ho Mike v roce 1971 vytvořil. A miluji tu možnost přiblížit ho jak novému publiku, tak i těm, kteří jsou stejně jako já naprosto uchváceni, kdykoli tuto skladbu slyší,“ popisuje s nadšením Robin Smith koncertní show Tubular Bells 50^th Anniversary.
